PAGERS
- What's the difference between a beeper and a pager?
- Nothing. The correct term is Pager. The term "Beeper" is an
affectionate nickname for pager. The two words are synonymous.
- What is the difference between numeric and
alpha-numeric pagers?
- Numeric pagers are only capable of displaying numbers while
alpha-numeric pagers can display both text and numeric messages.
- How do I go about purchasing a pager from your
company?
- You can call us at 212-889-5555 or order online. Just go to the
beeper page and click on the words, "To Order Click Here." This will bring you
to our online order form where you can order any of the pagers and services that we carry.
You can also fax your orders to 212-686-0583 please include your name, e-mail address and
phone number so we can contact you if necessary.

- Do you have
pager service in my area?
- We offer local pager service in most metropolitan area within the
continental United States. To check if we cover you area specifically, go to our coverage area page and look for the name of your city or call us
at 212-686-1288. You can also e-mail us with any questions about coverage by clicking HERE ! Be sure to include your name, the city you
live in and your zip code so we can verify if coverage is available for you.
- Do you have Alpha-numeric service in my area?
- We do not currently offer Alpha-numeric service in all areas of the
country but we will be offering this service in the near future. Check back soon for
pricing and availability.
- I am interested in your service but I'm hesitant
about buying a pager on the internet. Your prices seem almost too good to be true. How can
I be sure your legitimate?
- We have been selling, repairing, and providing pager service for over
10 years. Front Page is one of the leading providers in the New York, Tri-state area with
approx. 20,000 customers. We are able to offer our customers low prices due to the high
volume of our sales.
SERVICE OPTIONS
- What is voicemail?
- Voicemail is like adding an answering machine to your pager. When
someone dials your pager number they will hear a greeting in your voice. You can instruct
the caller to leave a voice message or key in a number at the tone. If they leave a
message you will be paged with your own number to let you know you have a message waiting.
You can then dial your pager number to retrieve the message (you will be given a security
code to assure privacy). If the caller keys in a number, you will be paged with the
numbers they pressed as if you had standard pager service.
- For how long are the voicemail messages kept?
- We have two options: Standard and Executive Voicemail. With standard
voicemail the message will be held in memory for 6 hours. With Executive voicemail the
messages are held for 12 hours. The prices for both voicemail packages are available on
our Voicemail page.
- How long can the messages be?
- Both the greetings and incoming messages can be as long as 30
seconds.
- How many voice messages can I keep at the same
time?
- You can keep up to 20 messages at a time. This has proven to be more
than adequate because you will be paged each time someone leaves a message.
REPAIRS
- What do I do if my pager stops working?
- First check the battery. Many times replacing your battery is all
that is needed. Always use a brand new alkaline battery (Not one that has been laying in a
drawer somewhere). Pay attention to the way the battery comes out of your pager so you can
put the replacement battery in properly. If you forget which way the battery came out look
for a diagram near the battery compartment on your pager.
- O.K. I changed the battery and my pager still
doesn't work. Now what?
- At ProBeep we know how important pager service is to our customers.
If your pager isn't working we make every effort to get the problem fixed ASAP. If you
don't have a credit card we can still help. We repair all of the pagers we sell on the
premises. Once we receive your pager we will either repair or replace your unit and ship
it back to you the same day we receive it.
- How much do you charge for repairs?
- As long as your pager is active with us and your account is in good
standing we will repair any manufacturers defects for under $25.00! Unfortunately, we
cannot warranty pagers that have been physically damaged, water damaged, or pagers that
have been tampered with. All other repairs and maintenance will be provided to our active
customers at no charge.
